About our organization

We are formally known as the East Tennessee Equality Council (ETEC) d.b.a. Knox Pride, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide and conduct educational, cultural, and informational programs supporting the LGBTQ+ community throughout East Tennessee.

All of our board members and volunteers are just that — volunteers. And we are grateful for all of their contributions to help Knox Pride.
